Founder and Treasurer: Janet Perna
Prior to her retirement from IBM in 2006, Janet was an executive in IBM's software business. During her 31 year career,
she held a number of positions with world-wide executive responsibilities.
Since her retirement, she has been a board member of a number of software companies, and currently serves on the boards of the SUNY Oneonta Foundation and the Collier County Education Foundation, Champions for Learning.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and golf.
Co-Founder and President: Melanie Rose
Melanie is a retired IBMer of 30 years who held executive positions in software product management, development and
technical support.
Now she enjoys giving back through volunteer work and board participation on such organizations as American Red Cross, Lasting Friends, Fostering Success, and Champions for Learning.
She is an avid animal enthusiast and enjoys her time with her dog Lola and two cats, Pippi and Coco.

Vice President: Tina Woodward
Tina is a retired Human Resources executive who held positions at IBM, Cisco, and Charles Schwab.
Tina has previously been an officer on the boards of ARIS in San Jose, CA, and Family Service Agency and Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, both based in San Francisco, CA. She loves to read, loves sports, and is committed to
improving hergolf game.
Secretary: Ginger Parrish
Ginger Parrish has 25 years of experience in healthcare administration in a variety of settings including outpatient physical therapy, inpatient rehabilitation, home health, adult day health care, and hospice. Ginger received her Ph.D. in College Teaching with a specialty in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Texas and her B.S. and Master’s Degree from East Carolina University.
She enjoys fishing and spends as much time as possible on her home-made pontoon boat on the Little River in Northeastern North Carolina.
Board Member: Joan Corley
Prior to her retirement from IBM in 2015, Joan was an executive in IBM Global Services. During her 38 year career, she held a number of positions with world-wide executive responsibilities in IBM and ATT.
Since her retirement, she is a board member of a number of not-for-profit companies whose mission is to benefit under served women, conserve the environment and promote wellness. Joan enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters, traveling, horseback riding, running and gardening. She has a business degrees from Pace University and an MBA from University of Colorado and in her retirement enjoys taking courses in Integrative Medicine.
Board Member: Mercy Lagmay Abrams
Dr. Mercy Abrams brings a long-standing commitment to improving children's lives and making a positive impact in the community. She is a retired pediatric anesthesiologist with over 25 years of experience in both academic medicine and private practice in the New York metro area.
Mercy received her MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed residency and sub specialty training in pediatric anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Hospital. During her career, she made a global impact through medical missions, offering essential services to children in developing countries.
Since 2015, Mercy has been a full-time resident of Naples. Outside of community involvement, she enjoys floral design, gardening, tennis, golf, and boating.
